OPA Working Group – Senior Assistants, Postdocs, Employment Conditions

The OPA working group is revising the regulations governing the framework job descriptions for senior assistants and postdocs at the faculties with the aim of creating clear and transparent employment conditions. These are intended to specifically promote research work in the qualification phase and create reliable framework conditions for the target group concerned.

The working group is composed of representatives from the faculties, the non-professorial academic staff, the Legal and Data Protection Departments, Human Resources, the Graduate Campus, the Vice-Rector for Research and the Vice-Rector for Professorships and Scientific Information.

As a basis for the revision of the regulations, the job profiles, employment conditions, target positions and career paths of senior research assistants and postdocs were comprehensively analysed.

The working group's activities are funded by the Action Plan for the Promotion of Young Researchers.
